Extruder with up to 3.340 g shotweight, max. throughput 550kg/h, CoolJet 3-stage preform take-off plate (robot), 48-cavity-mold (pitch=52x60) for preforms with PCO1810-, alternatively 38-mm-neck finish, MOTAN resin dryer, model LUXOR GAZ Eta 1200, plus EISBAER dehumidifyer, model DAS112, manufactured in 2002.
Of HUSKY recommended 5 MM cycles per each hotrunner overhaul service (cleaning, O-rings, sealings etc.) Only 1.5 of 5 MM cycles (recommended service cycle) have been „consumed“. This leaves another 3.5 MM cycles = 21 MM preforms at a 12 s-cycle.

… still another unique opportunity from GloCon – each 2nd-hand machine is unique for that matter – is the Multilayer application of that great HUSKY GL300 injection molder with KORTEC-co-injection technology integrated: model GL 300 PET DP100/110 E100 (RS 40/40). It comes with all process-related auxiliary equipment (2xresin dryer for PET + Nylon or other barrier material, dehumidifyer and – optionally – with a 48-cavity mold for 14.5/18-g-multilayer preforms) required.
To be sure, it is not state-of-the-art, but it does the job, namely producing 14,400 preforms per hour (of the 14,5 g-type) or 11,520 pph (of the 18.g.type), respectively.
Preforms which are suitable for protecting oxygen sensitive beverages like beer, fruit juces, ice tea and the like. Such preforms also extend shelflife for small volume formats like 330 and 500 ml from loosing its fizz (CO₂) early – too much package surface in relation to the little volume. … and contribute to selling more. Take a view at the 5-min.-video below:
Manufactured in 2007, in operation, with up to 3.980 g shotweight, 3-stage CoolPix
preform take-off finish, preform extraction conveyor, combined EISBAER resin dryer
and mold dehumidifyer, DryPack model DP1100/11, with 6,500-l-silo.
